Try a mix of Matwork, Reformer, and Reformer + Mat classes, all in our small boutique studio where classes are intentionally kept small (only 6 reformers per class) so you’ll always feel supported and guided.

Your pass is valid for 14 days from your first class, giving you time to try a few different sessions, meet our instructors, and settle into the studio.

No experience needed, just come along, move, and see how good Pilates can make you feel.

  • Pilates is a method of movement created by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, originally called Contrology. It was designed to improve strength, balance, and mobility through mindful, controlled exercises, focusing on quality of movement rather than quantity.

    At its heart, Pilates connects mind and body. Joseph believed that true wellbeing comes from training both together, which is why the practice is built around core principles like concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow.

    Unlike high-impact fitness styles, Pilates uses smaller, precise movements that build deep strength and stability. It can be practised on the mat or with specialised equipment, in group classes or private studio sessions, making it adaptable for everybody and every stage of life.

  • The beauty of Pilates is that it’s completely adaptable. Every movement can be scaled up or down in intensity, allowing us to meet you exactly where you are on any given day. Some days you might feel strong and ready to push yourself, and other days you might need gentler, restorative movement - both are perfectly valid.

    This flexibility is what makes Pilates so inclusive. No matter your age, experience, fitness level, or any injuries you may be working with, the method can be tailored to support you. That’s why we say Pilates is truly for everybody, it’s about moving in a way that feels right for you.

  • If you’re new to Pilates, Signature Matwork is a lovely place to start. These classes focus on building strong foundations, learning correct technique, and developing awareness of your core and movement.

    Even if you’ve done Pilates before, starting with Signature Matwork is a great way to experience our teaching style and reconnect with the fundamentals.

    If you’d prefer a little extra guidance before joining group classes, our Private Studio Sessions are a wonderful option. These one-on-one sessions allow us to introduce the equipment, assess your movement, and create a personalised starting point before transitioning into group classes.

  • Bookings are essential to secure your spot. Once you’ve purchased a class pack or Intro Offer, you can book directly through our website or via the Momence app (just download the app and select The Pilates Loft as your studio).

    For convenience, we recommend using the app to manage your schedule on the go. Make sure to take a moment to read our cancellation policy before booking your class.

  • Comfort is key. We recommend breathable activewear (leggings, shorts, or pants with a t-shirt or singlet). Shoes aren’t needed, all classes are done in grip socks, which are required for hygiene and safety. If you don’t have a pair, we have plenty available to purchase in the studio.

    A water bottle is also essential to keep you hydrated. You’re welcome to bring your own towel or any extra props if you like.

  • We understand that plans can change. If you’re unable to attend, please cancel at least 4 hours before your class. Cancellations made after this time, or if you don’t show up, will result in a loss of class or a no-show fee in line with our cancellation policy.

    If you cancel within these timeframes, your class credit will go straight back onto your account.

  • The Pilates Loft is located at Unit 6/1 Locke Lane, Ellenbrook, WA 6069.

    There is limited parking at the studio; alternative parking can be found on Comserve Loop, Locke Lane or at the nearby shops (a short 5-minute walk)

  • Signature Matwork Pilates

    Our Signature Matwork class is the heart of Pilates - a dynamic, full-body workout that uses your body weight and small props for resistance. It’s designed to be flowing, creative, and accessible, allowing you to move freely in all directions while building strength, flexibility, and control.

    This class is suitable for all levels, with pregnancy-friendly modifications available, making it a welcoming space for everyone.

  • Reformer Pilates

    Our Reformer classes use the Pilates reformer apparatus to build strength, improve flexibility, and support better movement throughout the body.

    Using spring resistance for both challenge and support, the reformer helps you move with control while strengthening your core and posture.

    At The Pilates Loft, classes are intentionally kept small with only 6 Reformers, allowing your instructor to provide more personalised guidance in a welcoming, supportive environment.

  • Reformer + Mat

    Our Reformer + Mat class gives you the best of both worlds, combining Reformer with Matwork for a varied, full-body Pilates session.

    You’ll move between the Reformer and the Mat throughout the class, building strength, improving flexibility, and keeping the workout fresh and engaging.

    With only 6 Reformers in the studio, these classes stay small and supportive, allowing your instructor to guide you closely while you enjoy a dynamic and energising Pilates experience.

  • Stretch & Flex (Matwork)

    This class is all about restoring both your body and your mind. Using the support of the mat and small props, we move with intention, focusing on breathwork, mobility, and deep stretching to release tension and improve flexibility.

    This is an open-level class, suitable for all bodies, prengancy and experience levels.

  • Lower Body Sculpt

    Booty • Legs • Core

    Looking to build stronger glutes, legs and core? This fun Pilates mat class is designed to do exactly that.

    Using a variety of equipment including resistance bands, dumbbells, weights, Pilates balls, circles and the Barre, each class is designed to strengthen and sculpt your lower body.

    Suitable for all fitness levels, with options and progressions provided throughout so you can work at a level that feels right for you.

  • Pilates Progressions

    Pilates Progressions is designed for clients who are comfortable with the Pilates basics and would like to continue building their skills.

    Using a combination of Reformer and Matwork, this class explores more technical Pilates movements and repertoire that we don't always get to in our regular classes. The focus is on refining technique, improving movement quality, and developing a deeper understanding of your body.

    This isn't about working harder; it's about learning more.

    This class is not recommended during pregnancy.

  • Pilates Circuit

    Pilates Circuit is a slightly more dynamic take on Pilates, combining Reformers, Jumpboards, Matwork, Barre and a range of studio equipment into one full-body class experience.

    You’ll move through different stations around the studio in a way that keeps the class flowing and varied, while still focusing on controlled movement, strength, technique and supportive instruction throughout.

    Designed to feel energising without losing the calm, guided feel The Pilates Loft is known for, these classes are a great way to experience more of the studio and enjoy a little extra variety in your movement practice.
