How do I get started with Private 1:1 Studio Pilates?

Private 1:1 Studio Pilates

Private 1:1 Studio Pilates is one of the most personalised ways to experience Pilates. Working one-on-one with your instructor, your sessions are tailored to your body, your goals, and how you move.

Often referred to as Clinical Pilates, these sessions are ideal if you’re recovering from injury, seeking more specific support, or simply want a more focused and guided experience.

Prefer to bring someone along?

If you’d feel more comfortable sharing your session, or would like to work alongside a friend, partner or family member, we also offer Duo (1:2) and Trio (1:3) Studio Sessions.

These sessions are still tailored and guided, just shared between you.

  • Studio Pilates is a more personalised way to experience Pilates, using the full range of studio equipment in a guided, small-group or one-on-one setting.

    Unlike regular classes, Studio sessions are tailored to the individual. Whether you’re working privately or sharing a session with one or two others, your instructor will guide and adjust each exercise to suit your body, your level, and how you’re feeling on the day.

    Sessions may include a mix of classical Pilates apparatus such as the Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair and other small equipment, allowing for a more complete and supportive movement experience.

    Studio Pilates is ideal if you’re looking for a more focused approach, whether that’s building strength, improving movement, returning from injury, or simply wanting more guidance than a group class provides.

  • Private sessions are suitable for everyone, and are especially beneficial if you:

    • Are new to Pilates and want a calm, supportive introduction

    • Are returning after injury, pain or time away from exercise

    • Want a program tailored to your individual needs and goals

    • Prefer focused guidance and a quieter studio environment

    • Would like to explore the full range of Pilates apparatus

    No experience is needed, we meet you exactly where you are.

  • Your first Studio session is booked as a Private 1:1 Initial Consultation.

    All Studio clients begin here, giving us the time to understand your movement history, posture, goals, and any injuries or concerns. From this session, we begin building a Pilates approach that’s tailored to your body and how you move.

    In ongoing sessions, whether you choose to continue privately or in a Duo or Trio, your instructor will guide you through your sessions, making adjustments and progressions as you build strength and confidence.

    Each session is responsive to how you’re feeling on the day, ensuring you feel supported, appropriately challenged, and comfortable in your movement.

  • You can book your session through our website or via the Momence app. Just look for the Appointments section to find available times.

    Studio sessions are appointment-based, so if you can’t find a time that suits online, please get in touch and we’ll help you arrange one that works.

  • Duo and Trio sessions are available by appointment.

    If you have someone you’d like to come along with, simply send us an email and we’ll organise a time that works for you.

  • Session Options & Pricing

    • Private 1:1 — $95

    • Duo Session (1:2) — $60 per person

    • Trio Session (1:3) — $45 per person

  • We understand things come up, but please note that Studio appointments require at least 12 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us enough time to offer your spot to another client.

    Cancellations made with more than 12 hours’ notice will be credited back to your account. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the loss of your appointment credit.

  • Comfort is key. We recommend breathable activewear (leggings, shorts, or pants with a t-shirt or singlet). Shoes aren’t needed, all classes are done in grip socks, which are required for hygiene and safety. If you don’t have a pair, we have plenty available to purchase in the studio.

    A water bottle is also essential to keep you hydrated. You’re welcome to bring your own towel or any extra props if you like.

  • The Pilates Loft is located at Unit 6/1 Locke Lane, Ellenbrook, WA 6069.
