How do I get started with Studio Apparatus (Semi-private) sessions?

Studio Apparatus (Semi-private) is a small, structured session (maximum 3–4 clients) using the full Pilates apparatus, including the Reformer, Tower, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel and more.

Each client works from their own personalised program, designed specifically for their body, goals, and movement history. While sessions are shared, your movement is always tailored to you.

It’s thoughtful, intelligent Pilates, with space to progress at your own pace.

  • Studio Apparatus (Semi-Private) sessions sit between private and group Pilates. They combine the personalised attention of studio-based Pilates with the energy and consistency of a small group.

    Sessions are held in groups of up to 3–4 people and use the full range of classical Pilates apparatus. Each client works from their own personalised program, designed around their body, goals, and movement history, so while you’re sharing the space, the work is always individual.

    With a strong focus on the quality of movement, these sessions support strength, mobility, balance, flexibility, and alignment in ways relevant to your everyday life.

    Many clients choose semi-private sessions to build strength safely, support other training or sport, continue progressing after private sessions, or simply enjoy a more guided and supportive way to move.

    Studio Apparatus (Semi-Private) is especially suited to those managing niggles, returning from injury, or wanting a thoughtful, structured approach to movement. It’s also a supportive option during pregnancy and postnatal recovery, where individual attention within a calm studio environment really matters.

  • To keep these sessions safe, effective, and genuinely personalised, Studio Apparatus sessions are available to clients who have completed our Private Intro Offer.

    This includes:

    • An initial 1:1 consultation

    • Two follow-up private sessions to build and refine your individual program.

    • Time to learn the equipment, cues, and movement patterns before entering a small group.

    By the time you step into Semi-Private sessions, you’ll feel confident, capable, and supported, not thrown in the deep end.

  • You can book your session through our website or via the Momence app & look for classes called ‘Studio Apparatus (Semi-Private)’

  • We understand that plans can change. If you’re unable to attend, please cancel at least 4 hours before your class. Cancellations made after this time, or if you don’t show up, will incur a loss of that class or a no-show fee in line with our cancellation policy.

    If you cancel within these timeframes, your class credit will be credited back to your account.

  • Comfort is key. We recommend breathable activewear (leggings, shorts, or pants with a t-shirt or singlet). Shoes aren’t needed, all classes are done in grip socks, which are required for hygiene and safety. If you don’t have a pair, we have plenty available to purchase in the studio.

    A water bottle is also essential to keep you hydrated. You’re welcome to bring your own towel or any extra props if you like.

  • The Pilates Loft is located at Unit 6/1 Locke Lane, Ellenbrook, WA 6069.

    There is limited parking at the studio; alternative parking can be found on Comserve Loop, Locke lane or at the nearby shops (a short 5-minute walk)
