Pilates for Beginners - 3 Week Series
This 3-week beginner series is a gentle, supportive and encouraging introduction to Reformer & Matwork Pilates at The Pilates Loft.
Only 5 spots available - small group for more personalised support.
Designed especially for those new to Pilates, or wanting a more guided and supportive place to begin, this small-group program combines both Reformer and Matwork to help you build strength, confidence, and body awareness in a calm and welcoming environment.
This experience is designed to take you from a complete beginner → confidently stepping into any class.
Over three weeks, you’ll be guided through:
✨ Breathing techniques to support calm, control, and better movement
✨ The foundational movements of Pilates, the core principles that all other exercises are built from, across both Matwork and Reformer. Learning these foundations correctly helps improve posture, build strength safely, reduce aches and discomfort, and gives you the confidence to continue into regular classes
✨ Gentle strengthening and mobility using a combination of Reformer, Matwork, and small props, helping your body feel stronger, more supported, and more connected
✨ How to move confidently in a way that suits your body. Movements can be adjusted to support pain, stiffness, injuries, or specific needs, so you feel comfortable and safe while still making progress
✨ An introduction to the Reformer, how it works, how to move with it, and how it can support and challenge your body in a really effective (and enjoyable) way
What’s included:
✔ 3 x weekly Matwork/Reformer sessions (50 minutes each)
– small group (max 5), same group each week, so you can feel comfortable and supported as you learn
✔ 5 x group classes to use after the series
– valid for 2 weeks following your final session, so you can continue building confidence and ease into regular classes
✔ A mix of Reformer and Matwork throughout
✔ Personal guidance and support every step of the way
✔ FREE pair of Pilates grip socks

The Pilates Loft is my favourite studio! The sessions are challenging enough to feel like you’re progressing, but still super approachable, which has been great for me as I'm building my strength. I’ve noticed myself standing taller and feeling more stable throughout the day, which I didn’t expect so soon. The studio atmosphere is warm, inviting, and never intimidating. Everyone is there to improve, and it just feels like such a positive space to move in. I'd definitely recommend it!
